Oocyte Cryopreservation may be thought-about for a range of reasons: Women with cancer requiring therapy and/or girdle irradiation that will have an effect on fertility. Surgery that will cause harm to the ovaries. Risk of premature ovarian failure due to body abnormalities (e.g. Turner syndrome, fragile X syndrome), or case history of early change of life.
